Course Information

If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, then you will love scuba diving and experience first hand the beauty of the other three quarters of your world. Scuba diving is a skill and you will require the right program. Peace Scuba Center prides itself in making safe competent divers who will enjoy the sport.

We conduct and issue SSI (Scuba Schools International) certifications. Our professional instructional team took the job of deciding which certifications to offer you very seriously. We have chosen the SSI training program. The SSI training program takes diving very seriously, they believe that diving experience is key to the comfort and safety for divers and they strongly emphasize diving experience. This is a philosophy that we also strongly believe.

Snorkeling Lessons

A snorkeling lesson is great just before your vacation, so that you can become comfortable or fine tune your snorkeling skills.

Try Scuba Program

The Try Scuba Program allows you to try out scuba diving in a swimming pool before you commit to an entire course. Here you can see if Scuba Diving is for you.

 1 - Pool training session.     $75 will be applied to your scuba course, if you sign up within 3 months Upon Request

Scuba Certification Courses

Group Open Water Diver

We have 2 different formats. A weekend and an evening schedule.

The weekend schedule meets for 2 Friday evenings from 6pm-9pm, then a Saturday and Sunday from 9am-6pm. This course requires a high degree of comfort in the water, the pace moves quickly.

If you want a course that offers more hands on attention, then the evening course is for you. This course meets 2 nights a week for 3 weeks from 6-9pm.

We limit the size of our courses, so that you get the utmost attention and have time to learn and become comfortable with your scuba skills before going to the ocean.

Private Open Water Diver

A private course works around your schedule and your wants and needs.

You tell us what you want and we will find an instructor for you.

A course requires approximately 4-8 hours of academic instruction, 6-12 hours of pool instruction and 2 days of open water training. The minimum number of days required to complete the training, would be 4 days. Additional time may be needed for children and for those individuals overcoming certain fears.

Scuba Referral Courses

Open Water Referral
Referrals are where a portion of your training is conducted in one place and the remaining portion is completed elsewhere. We can accommodate both cases for you. You must have a completed referral form from an accepted training agency that has not expired. Additional fees can be incurred if referral form has expired or time since last training has exceeded 6 months.
